Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Video Editor who will assume complete responsibility for the editing function within the company. This role entails hands-on editing, leadership in building and managing the editing team, setting quality standards, establishing processes, and ensuring the highest output quality without being predominantly meeting-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all editing deliverables, ensuring timely turnaround, high-quality output, and cost efficiency per advertisement.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and nurture the growth of video editors within the team.
• Establish and uphold rigorous editing quality benchmarks across all content.
• Personally edit advertisements particularly during onboarding and scaling stages to set exemplary standards.
• Develop and refine operational workflows, standard operating procedures, briefing systems, and feedback mechanisms for continuous quality enhancement.
• Drive ongoing improvements in the editing pipeline by identifying and implementing optimization opportunities.
• Guarantee that all creative assets are thoroughly reviewed and meet quality expectations before delivery.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
• Prior experience in leading or managing an editing team.
• Exceptional quality assurance skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective decision-making capabilities and leadership proficiency.
• Experience in constructing or enhancing video editing workflows.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on performance marketing.
• Fluent German language skills (native or equivalent).
• Current residency within Germany is required.
