As a Senior Sales Performance Consultant, you will work directly with the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Strategic Accounts leadership, acting as a strategic partner to identify and drive sales effectiveness and leadership capabilities through data-driven enablement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Strategic Accounts leadership and senior stakeholders to pinpoint high-impact sales performance opportunities and propose targeted enablement initiatives.
- Establish trusted relationships with Sales leaders, field representatives, and cross-functional teams to understand barriers to achieving business goals and tailor enablement solutions accordingly.
- Act as the liaison aligning central enablement programs with field requirements and Strategic Accounts objectives to ensure relevance and impact.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data including sales metrics, call reviews, stakeholder feedback, and operational information to diagnose gaps in knowledge, skills, tools, and processes.
- Craft clear executive narratives and actionable recommendations linking salesperson behaviors to customer engagement and commercial results.
- Design and implement comprehensive enablement strategies that promote measurable behavior change aligned with sales priorities and customer needs.
- Lead multifaceted programs with defined goals, success metrics, and accountability, converting complex business challenges into structured action plans.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations and business leaders to define impact measurements, track return on investment, and refine tactics through continuous feedback.
- Facilitate alignment across Marketing, Operations, Product, GTM Enablement, and Sales to streamline workflow, mitigate risks, and improve execution at scale.
- Develop change management and communication plans to increase executive-level commitment and sustained engagement for enablement initiatives.
- Influence without formal authority within a matrixed environment to drive leadership accountability for adopting new sales behaviors and practices.
- Provide tailored coaching to Sales leaders and representatives to enhance deal execution, customer relevance, and overall sales performance.
- Establish and document effective management practices and reinforcement routines that enhance sales leadership capabilities and field productivity.
- Mentor junior enablement team members by sharing best practices and offering constructive feedback.
- Leverage enablement technology and AI tools to reveal performance insights, scale best practices, and enhance learning engagement.
- Experiment with new tools and approaches, disseminating findings and promoting responsible use to maximize enablement outcomes.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure tools and content are user-friendly, field-relevant, and integrated into seller workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, communications, education, engineering, product management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, sales enablement, consulting, operations, or a related commercial function.
- Proven track record collaborating with senior sales leaders to identify challenges and implement measurable improvements.
- Skilled in leveraging data and stakeholder feedback to build influential recommendations for business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a quota-holding sales professional or strong sales acumen, ideally within B2B, enterprise, SaaS, marketing, or digital media sectors.
- Experience working with large, complex sales organizations and enterprise account teams.
- Ability to influence leadership at the VP level and above, building consensus without direct authority.
- Expertise in performance consulting, change management, adult learning, facilitation, and reinforcement techniques driving lasting behavioral change.
- Proficient in managing multi-project portfolios with defined outcomes, dependencies, and accountability.
- Advanced skills in communication and data storytelling to translate ambiguous data into actionable executive summaries.
