Recognized by Vogue France and popular influencers worldwide, the brand is rapidly expanding its presence across the US, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Wholesale Sales Manager to join our fast-growing team. This role demands a proactive individual who thrives on turning cold leads into significant wholesale accounts, with the potential for high earnings through uncapped commissions. This is a demanding position with direct impact and the opportunity to help scale the brand globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively source new wholesale leads through creative channels such as social media, competitor research, and direct visits.
- Conduct cold outreach via phone calls, emails, and in-person visits, converting objections into confirmed sales.
- Develop compelling relationships and tailor personalized marketing materials to create urgency and excitement for buyers.
- Close wholesale deals with boutiques, concept stores, and multi-brand retailers across multiple international markets.
- Manage assigned territories and consistently exceed monthly sales targets.
- Represent the brand at key industry events including trade shows and fashion weeks, engaging with buyers face-to-face.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive network of boutique owners and key retail contacts.
- Collaborate closely with the founder on strategic accounts and growth opportunities with major retailers.
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 4 years of sales experience; prior exposure to fashion wholesale sales is highly desirable.
- Strong persuasiveness, polished communication, and relentless focus on closing deals.
- Resilience to rejection, using it as motivation for subsequent successes.
- Good understanding of relevant fashion retailers and market positioning with insightful industry opinions.
- Comfortable with phone sales, in-person client engagement, and recording brief sales videos.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally for trade events and client visits.
- French language skills and passion for the brand's aesthetic are advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base wage between $26 and $32 per hour, translating to $54,080–$66,560 annually for full-time employees.
- Scheduled 2% salary raises every six months during the first two years, amounting to 4% annual increases.
- Commission of 3% on all wholesale sales, with the potential for significant earnings from high monthly sales volumes.
- Personal growth bonuses ranging from $150 to $350 monthly upon presentation and execution of skill development plans.
- Monthly cash awards recognizing outstanding performance and innovation.
- Annual guaranteed bonus starting at $1,000 and up to $5,000 based on results.
- Profit-sharing program offering up to 15% of net profits distributed to employees annually linked to team performance.
- $3,000 loyalty bonus after three years of service.
- Generous clothing allowance providing two free pieces each month.
- Paid time off includes 20 days initially (13 PTO plus 7 sick days) plus 5 holidays, increasing up to 32 days over time.
- $150 per month stipend for health and wellness expenses.
- Access to a lively downtown LA showroom and direct collaboration with the company’s founder.
Culture & Work Environment
Join a close-knit team of about ten members who value rapid execution and entrepreneurial spirit. The company regularly hosts engaging team activities such as skill-sharing events, catered lunches, potluck gatherings, and internal pitch competitions with cash prizes. The focus is firmly on ownership and delivering measurable results.
Application Process
Interested candidates should submit a resume along with a brief note or a 60-second video describing their most significant sale and their eagerness to lead wholesale efforts at Strawberry Paris.
