Job description

About Numa

Numa is a modern hospitality company that is reshaping how travelers explore cities. It offers well-designed rooms, studios, and apartments in central neighborhoods across Europe, combining practical simplicity with technology-driven service.

The company focuses on improving both guest and operational experiences through software and streamlined processes, aiming to deliver clear value and high-quality stays without hidden charges. Its culture emphasizes curiosity, authenticity, creativity, inclusion, and a workplace where diverse perspectives are welcomed and contribute to innovation.

Role Summary

This position is for a seasoned Product Manager who will take broad responsibility for the core of the business: the digital guest journey. The role covers the post-booking experience from before arrival through departure and the follow-up after a stay. It spans guest communications across WhatsApp, email, and push notifications, as well as the mobile app and web product.

You will oversee two teams with partly shared responsibilities and one Product Designer across both. Success in this role depends on strong prioritization, clear sequencing, and the ability to keep multiple workstreams progressing without getting pulled into constant firefighting. Beyond solid execution, the expectation is to continuously raise the bar and think about delivering an exceptional, near-10-star guest experience.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the discovery, concept development, and release of products and features that improve the guest journey across every touchpoint, with an emphasis on self-service, personalization, and long-term loyalty.
  • Work as part of a strong product trio with ownership across web, mobile app, and WhatsApp-based experiences, split across two teams with a shared designer.
  • Set and manage the roadmap and priorities for both teams, resolve scope overlap, and ensure the designer’s time is directed toward the highest-impact work.
  • Review customer feedback, market developments, and competitor activity to uncover product opportunities and guide future improvements.
  • Define KPIs, track performance, and use insights from data to continuously improve product outcomes.
  • Build a strong understanding of the hospitality sector and new technologies to keep the product offering innovative and competitive.
  • Keep the product process centered on guest needs throughout the full lifecycle of the product.
  • Maintain alignment among stakeholders by clearly communicating product direction, goals, and progress.
  • Support and mentor junior product managers and other team members while encouraging ongoing learning and growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, with a strong interest in user experience and communication.
  • A well-rounded profile that is credible on both the business/commercial side and the analytical side, including comfort with metrics such as activation, retention, and ancillary revenue.
  • Proven experience managing more than one team or workstream at the same time while staying organized, decisive, and effective across a broad scope.
  • Experience building consumer-facing products, rather than only B2B or SaaS solutions; travel or hospitality experience is a plus.
  • A bias toward shipping quickly and validating solutions in the market.
  • Confidence working with product analytics tools and directly exploring data in a warehouse, with knowledge of event tracking best practices being an advantage.
  • Hands-on use of AI in a current workflow, such as prototyping, analysis, or ideation, along with the ability to think through the data a feature truly needs.
  • Experience in product strategy and roadmap planning that aligns business goals with customer needs.
  • Strong communication, people, and leadership skills, including the ability to raise issues constructively, manage upward, and keep cross-functional teams aligned.
  • Comfort working in a flat, low-ego environment with direct access to senior leaders, where ideas are challenged openly and decisions are grounded in evidence.

What We Offer

  • A fast-moving, collaborative setting where your work helps shape the company’s direction and supports your professional development.
  • A complimentary stay to experience the brand firsthand, plus discounted stays for friends and family in stylish apartments.
  • Opportunities to connect with colleagues through team-building events in a global environment.

Diversity and Inclusion

Numa welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and is committed to a workplace where differences are respected, valued, and used to strengthen the team. Applications are encouraged from people of all races, ethnicities, disability statuses, ages, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
