About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The position involves working on the Acute Stroke Unit (Ward 7) and the Gastroenterology Ward (Ward 22). This role is classified as Band 3 with a standard working week of 37.5 hours. Flexible working arrangements are available across all MKUH positions.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate and caring, committed to maintaining high standards of patient care, and embody the trust's core values. Exceptional communication skills, respect for patient privacy and dignity, and the ability to deliver individualised care are essential.
Please note there is an initial probationary period of six months, extendable up to 12 months. A DBS check may be required for new hires. Responsibilities
Under the guidance of registered nursing staff, the Senior Healthcare Assistant will perform delegated clinical care duties. This includes supporting the nursing team and assisting Healthcare Assistants in providing safe, effective patient care on the specified wards.
