Role Overview
A Specialty Recruiter position is open for managing the end-to-end recruitment process focused on professional roles within healthcare. This role ensures a seamless journey for both clients and candidates, strategizes talent acquisition, maintains relationships, and complies with relevant employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding hires.
- Create innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified professionals.
- Maintain talent pools and candidate databases for ongoing recruitment needs.
- Utilize job boards, social media, networking, referrals, community involvement, and online tools to source candidates.
- Conduct candidate searches through recruitment platforms using advanced internet sourcing techniques.
- Screen and interview candidates applying behavioral and competency-based methods.
- Assess both technical competencies and interpersonal skills to ensure candidate fit.
- Schedule interviews, prepare candidates, and manage communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Lead interview feedback sessions with candidates and hiring teams.
- Compile candidate profiles and present shortlisted applicants to hiring authorities.
- Manage offer extension, negotiate salary, and coordinate onboarding procedures.
- Keep recruitment documentation accurate and compliant within tracking systems.
- Foster strong candidate relationships to promote future redeployment options.
- Guide candidates on professional development, career growth, and training opportunities.
- Engage in requisition reviews and strategically prioritize recruitment efforts.
- Stay informed about industry trends, salary standards, and competitor hiring activities.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to comprehend hiring needs and recommend appropriate recruitment approaches.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts across various locations when necessary.
- Support client onboarding, including negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, and implementing services.
- Maintain ongoing client communication to ensure quality service and satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze feedback from clients and candidates to enhance recruitment quality.
- Assist with employee relations, including coaching, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed.
- Handle workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and compliance related tasks.
- Contribute to special initiatives and recruitment projects as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Between 1 to 3 years in professional recruitment roles.
- Experienced in sourcing and hiring for professional and specialized healthcare roles.
- Proficient in sourcing through digital recruitment platforms and internet search methods.
- Excellent customer service approach with strong relationship management skills.
- Organized with ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement competencies.
- Familiarity with employment laws and best recruitment practices.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Quick to adopt new recruitment software and technologies.
- Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving and prioritization capabilities.
- Capable of developing rapport at all organizational levels.
