Job description

Role overview

Sephora is looking for a Senior Executive in Category Management to independently support the category team in overseeing a portfolio of brands. The role focuses on strengthening differentiation across key brand groups while improving growth, space efficiency, profitability, and the performance of 360-degree campaigns that build category reach. The business operates across Southeast Asia with a fast-expanding omni-channel footprint, including stores and digital channels.

What you will do

  • Coordinate closely with market merchandising teams to help deliver category strategy in a smooth and aligned way.
  • Prepare category performance updates by collecting and consolidating information from multiple sources.
  • Independently monitor omni-channel category results, spot patterns and insights, and use them to support category growth.
  • Manage assigned brand portfolios and track performance across channels, markets, segments, margins, productivity, brand conversion, and stock levels against KPIs.
  • Make sure commercial negotiation paperwork is completed on time, including follow-ups with brand partners for any required documents.
  • Work with brands and internal teams to plan, coordinate, and execute product launches and activations, including preparing the documentation and toolkits needed for strong execution.
  • Support launch planning for assigned brands by collaborating with relevant stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Partner with the supply chain team on forecasting and planning to support brand targets and maintain healthy inventory levels.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in category management, retail buying, or a closely related area.
  • Prior involvement in planning and delivering launch plans with brands and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with supply chain teams on forecasting and planning.
  • Strong skills in planning, organisation, and time management.
  • Good interpersonal and communication abilities, with confidence in presenting ideas clearly.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-moving and dynamic work environment.

Additional information

The region operates 100+ stores and includes flagship locations such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur, and Pitt Street in Sydney. The business is growing quickly through new store openings and channels such as click-and-collect and marketplace.

Culture and workplace

  • Join a community that values authenticity and believes differences strengthen the team.
  • Be part of a culture that supports empowerment, learning, growth, innovation, and leadership.
  • Contribute to work that creates value, from improving customer experiences to helping shape the industry.
