Role overview

Sephora is hiring an Operations Lead for its Square One store in Mississauga. This is a regular full-time role based at 100 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, ON L5B 2B9, Canada. The opening is for an existing vacancy and carries the store ID 284743.

What you will do

In this position, you will oversee the operational side of the store and manage the full operations team. You will help coordinate staffing for operations, overnight stock support, operations leadership, and the day-to-day running of the location.

  • Run store operations with a focus on consistent execution of all operational processes in line with company standards.
  • Oversee inventory handling, including shipping, receiving, merchandise returns, cycle counts, and completion of tasks within required timelines and guidelines.
  • Supervise merchandising standards, including in-store visuals, and manage both in-house and third-party cleaning teams by setting expectations, coaching performance, and escalating issues when needed.
  • Control the store’s supply needs, including budget and stock levels for supplies, testers, and samples.
  • Take part in performance management for the operations team and ensure feedback for improvement is delivered promptly and followed through.
  • Act as Manager on Duty when needed and maintain strong engagement with beauty advisors and customers on the sales floor.
  • Support budget planning by understanding store sales performance, staffing, payroll, and other controllable operating expenses.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate brings 1 to 3 years of experience in a comparable role at a similar-volume store, or equivalent internal experience. You should be able to influence colleagues, give constructive feedback, and demonstrate strong store operations capability. Good time management and problem-solving skills are also important.

Compensation and rewards
