Senior Director of Procurement

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Director of Procurement to spearhead our procurement department remotely across the United States. Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Legal, Technology, Product, and executive teams to ensure procurement initiatives meet evolving business priorities.
• Supervise supplier onboarding, performance evaluation, and continual improvement efforts.
• Analyze market trends, procurement data, and operational metrics to guide strategic sourcing decisions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and overall operational outcomes.
• Lead and mentor procurement teams to nurture a results-driven, cooperative, and continuously improving work culture.
• Administer departmental budgets, resource planning, and procurement priorities effectively.
• Ensure compliance in contract management and procurement documentation in line with internal protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, including major leadership roles.
• Proven track record of steering strategic procurement initiatives within complex business settings.
• Expertise in procurement processes, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and category management.
• Ability to craft and implement procurement strategies that elevate operational performance and effectiveness.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder communication skills.
• Advanced analytical, financial acumen, and resolution skills with data-driven decision-making focus.
• Experience handling procurement technology platforms, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools.
• Capability to lead cross-functional projects and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail and execution excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related area.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPSD, CSCP, CPIM, or equivalents.

• Track record of managing remote or geographically dispersed procurement teams.
