Role Overview
The Senior Director of Human Resources will lead the Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) team, acting as a strategic consultant to senior leadership across multiple international regions including the US, APAC, and EMEA. This leadership role demands aligning the global people strategy tightly with business goals, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring consistent yet locally compliant HR practices worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand a high-impact global HRBP team, supporting leaders across various regions.
- Collaborate with executives and senior management to translate business strategies into people and organizational plans.
- Advise on workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategies, and change management.
- Provide strategic HR partnership addressing complex challenges in diverse cultural, regulatory, and business contexts.
- Ensure global HR frameworks are applied consistently with regional adaptations and compliance.
- Manage talent initiatives including leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and engagement.
- Support large-scale organizational changes such as restructures, mergers & acquisitions integration, and business transformations.
- Leverage data-driven insights to influence HR decisions and measure impact.
- Oversee senior-level employee relations, collaborating with legal and regional HR teams.
- Maintain governance, compliance, and manage risk across multiple geographies.
- Provide guidance on complex employment laws and practices working alongside local experts.
- Cultivate a strong, inclusive HRBP leadership team through coaching, mentoring, and continuous development.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance within HR.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines; advanced degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in HR, with substantial tenure in senior leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing global HRBP teams across multiple regions including US, India, Singapore, Japan, Malta, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Australia, Netherlands, and UK.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international employment laws, labor practices, and cultural nuances.
- Proven capacity to operate strategically and operationally within fast-paced, complex global environments.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and influence.
