We are seeking a Business Operations Manager for our Consumer business to act as the operational and commercial core, collaborating closely with the Head of Consumer to optimize business performance across Amaze and Instarem platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Amaze business P&L, including tracking revenue, costs, profitability, and benchmarking against targets.
  • Lead forecasting, business reviews, and prepare executive-level reports to provide transparent insights into performance.
  • Support decision-making with financial modeling, business cases, and commercial analysis.
  • Oversee the operating cadence, aligning cross-functional teams on priorities, budgets, and execution.
  • Govern budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, collaborating closely with Finance to manage financial processes effectively.
  • Identify operational challenges and performance trends to drive initiatives enhancing efficiency and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to shape go-to-market strategies, launch plans, and growth initiatives.
  • Assist strategic planning processes including roadmap prioritization, workshops, and annual planning.
  • Drive execution of cross-functional programs, ensuring coordination among multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage key partnerships such as Mastercard and Stripe, handling commercial operations including incentives, pricing, marketing programs, and governance.
  • Coordinate with external partners to successfully execute joint initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational support including managing escalations, resolving disputes, and addressing systemic issues with long-term solutions.
  • Lead business-critical initiatives including payment schemes and network programs.
  • Step into high-priority projects to provide structure and drive progress amid ambiguity.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, commercial operations, or finance within fintech or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience managing business performance, including budgets or profit and loss responsibilities.
  • Strong commercial insight with capability to transform data into strategic guidance.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management and leading projects across teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling abilities.
  • Experience presenting complex recommendations to senior leadership.
