Job Overview
This opportunity is for a Senior Consultant role based in Melbourne, offering a dynamic position interacting with Boards and Executive Management. The client portfolio includes diverse sectors such as start-ups, ASX-listed companies, Local Government, Corporate, Not-for-profit, and Aged Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to manage the scope, execution, and delivery of internal audit, risk consulting, and advisory projects.
- Support a portfolio of clients within risk consulting and internal audit functions.
- Advise high-profile clients on operational and strategic matters centered on risk management, governance, process reviews, and control frameworks.
- Lead various risk consulting engagements spanning financial controls, procurement, safety, technology risk, governance, and operations.
- Oversee client delivery teams and maintain strong post-engagement relationships.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to team members throughout projects.
- Drive go-to-market strategies and business development targeting relevant clients and sectors.
Candidate Profile
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey risk and audit insights tailored for both experts and clients seeking knowledge.
- Proven capability in quickly building and sustaining relationships across varied stakeholders internally and externally.

Experience and Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Senior Consultant in Internal Audit or Risk Consulting is preferred.
- Demonstrated capability working with diverse client portfolios, including communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Recent experience in audit or risk-related roles with a comprehensive understanding of governance, risk management, and control processes accompanied by strategic thinking ability.
