- Maintain and update policies, procedures, and risk assessments to comply with regulatory standards and adapt to business changes.
- Actively participate in investigating and resolving advanced fraud and financial crime cases.
- Facilitate financial crime training and promote a robust compliance culture among staff.
- Support the Head of Compliance/MLRO in upholding the company's AML, counter-terrorism financing (CTF), sanctions, anti-bribery, and fraud prevention frameworks.
- Oversee quality assurance of investigations, onboarding verifications, alert handling, and case management.
- Provide detailed management reports and insights to MLRO and governance committees highlighting incidents, trends, breaches, and control effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analyses and advise internal teams on improving processes or revising policies accordingly.
- Engage with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement and government officials, as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of Suspicious Activity Reports where necessary.
- Serve as deputy or delegate to the MLRO on operational matters as required.
- Perform other tasks assigned by line or senior management.
