Role Overview
Joining as a Sales Representative in field operations, you will play a vital role in implementing our sales strategy. Your main responsibility is educating customers about our products to build trust and drive growth in the Central Germany region, including Frankfurt, Würzburg, Jena, and Kassel. Your efforts will position our premium knee and hip endoprosthetics portfolio, helping patients access state-of-the-art therapeutic solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive sustainable sales growth by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships within your territory.
- Provide expert advice to physicians and hospital administrators regarding our innovative products to guide optimal therapy decisions.
- Implement targeted marketing and sales strategies effectively in the market.
- Lead confident sales and pricing negotiations with medical professionals and hospital representatives.
- Organize and conduct product training sessions, workshops, and in-house educational events for medical staff.
- Provide guidance on implant systems.
- Create informational and continuing education programs to share knowledge and strengthen professional networks.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and target groups.
- Collect and report market data feedback to sales management.
- Independently perform competitive and market analyses and participate in congresses and clinical events.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial or medical-technical education, or a university degree in areas such as business administration or healthcare management.
- Experience in selling complex products, ideally within orthopedics focusing on knee and hip endoprosthetics or surgical fields.
- Proactive, hunter mindset with strong customer and result orientation.
- Excellent negotiation skills and customer focus.
- Knowledge of the healthcare policy environment (e.g., Diagnosis Related Groups) or experience in hospital business.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic orthopedic anatomy is desirable.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts, plus fluency in German and solid English skills.
- Strategic sales understanding combined with dedication and a confident, engaging demeanor.
- High initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and persistence.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 80-85%) within the assigned region (Frankfurt, Würzburg, Jena, Kassel).
- Flexibility and self-motivation to ensure optimal on-site client support.
