Role Overview

As a Sales Representative (m/w/d) in the field for knee and hip endoprosthetics covering Central Germany (Frankfurt, Würzburg, Jena, Kassel), you will be essential to advancing the sales strategy. You will educate customers on product usage, build trust, and drive growth by positioning our premium product portfolio, enabling patients to benefit from cutting-edge therapeutic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sustainable growth by actively identifying, acquiring, and nurturing new customers and strengthening existing relationships in your sales district.
  • Provide expert consultation to physicians and clinic administrators on innovative products, supporting optimal therapeutic decisions.
  • Implement prescribed marketing and sales strategies effectively in the market.
  • Lead confident sales and pricing negotiations with doctors and hospital officials.
  • Organize and conduct product trainings, workshops, and in-house sessions for medical personnel.
  • Provide guidance on implant systems.
  • Arrange informational and continuing education events to share knowledge and build networks.
  • Develop networks, identify key opinion leaders, and maintain contacts within target groups.
  • Collect market data and provide feedback to sales management.
  • Conduct independent competitor and market analyses and participate in congresses and clinic events.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completed commercial or medical-technical training, or a university degree (e.g., business administration, health management, or a related field).
  • Experience selling complex products, preferably in orthopedics (knee and hip endoprosthetics) or surgery.
  • Proactive with a "hunter" mindset.
  • Strong customer focus, results orientation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of the healthcare policy environment (e.g., DRGs) or clinic business experience.
  • Medical vocabulary and basic orthopedic anatomy knowledge are advantageous.
  • Ability to explain technical matters clearly and fluent command of German, with good English skills.
  • High degree of customer orientation and strategic sales understanding, acting purposefully and with commitment.
  • Confident demeanor with positive attitude, high initiative, sociability, and persistence.

Travel Expectations

  • High travel readiness (approximately 80-85%) within your territory (Frankfurt, Würzburg, Jena, Kassel).
  • Flexibility and initiative to provide optimal on-site customer support.
