Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is presented on behalf of a partner employer, which will handle applications and the next stages of the hiring process. The position is for a Sales Manager - Account Executive in Canada, offered in a remote-first setup.
The role sits at the crossroads of creator partnerships, digital commerce, and fast-moving business development. It combines direct selling responsibilities with team leadership, so the person in the role will be expected to both win business individually and help a team of Account Executives perform at a high level.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing go-to-market plans aimed at creator growth, partnerships, and revenue expansion. The position also involves close exposure to creators, talent agencies, and other strategic partners across a dynamic digital ecosystem.
In addition to driving sales outcomes, this role contributes to the development of sales processes, pipeline management, and broader commercial strategy. It is best suited to someone who is comfortable in a high-growth, metrics-driven environment and enjoys building while selling.
Accountabilities
- Create and carry out sales and go-to-market plans that increase net-new creator acquisition and help deliver overall revenue goals.
- Manage your own sales target by actively prospecting, negotiating, and closing creator and brand partnership deals.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline with steady deal progression from outreach through signed agreements and campaign launch.
- Coach, support, and develop Account Executives through regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and ongoing enablement.
- Track sales performance, pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and core revenue indicators, then put corrective plans in place when needed.
- Work closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Operations to improve lead flow, onboarding, and overall sales efficiency.
- Develop durable relationships with creators, talent agencies, and industry partners to strengthen long-term business development.
- Represent the company at industry gatherings and networking events to build visibility and open new partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development in creator economy, influencer marketing, SaaS, digital media, or e-commerce settings.
- At least 5 years spent managing quota-carrying sales teams, with demonstrated success in coaching and performance improvement.
- A strong record of meeting or surpassing both individual and team revenue goals on a consistent basis.
- Background working with creators, talent agencies, management firms, or adjacent partnership ecosystems.
- Good grasp of pipeline management, forecasting, sales operations, and compensation models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities, including the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- Analytical strength with the ability to read performance data and turn it into practical action.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and with sales reporting tools.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and results-focused environment.
Compensation and benefits
The role comes with a competitive base pay of CAD 120,000 to CAD 125,000, along with variable commission.
Benefits include fully remote flexibility across Canada, with optional access to physical hubs.
Health, dental, and wellness coverage begins from day one.
Employees receive four weeks of paid vacation, plus an additional holiday shutdown period.
An RRSP match of up to 3% is included to support long-term savings.
Home office and wellness support is provided through allowances, including phone and setup stipends.
There is also paid parental leave top-up and family support programming.
Professional development support, education assistance, and ongoing learning opportunities are available.
Additional benefits include an annual volunteer day, employee referral rewards, and a workplace culture centered on inclusion, collaboration, and high performance.
