Role overview
CN Hotels is seeking a senior hospitality executive to steer sales, marketing, and business development across its hotel portfolio. This leadership role is focused on accelerating revenue, strengthening brand presence, and guiding a high-performing commercial team. The position requires relocation to the corporate office in Greensboro, North Carolina.
What you'll do
- Create and implement portfolio-wide sales and marketing plans, including annual budgets and business plans designed to meet revenue targets.
- Coach and direct sales leaders across group, corporate, consortia, and leisure segments while fostering strong performance and professional growth.
- Review market patterns, guest behavior, and competitor moves to uncover opportunities and refine sales direction.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to improve pricing, distribution, channel mix, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall revenue results.
- Oversee marketing programs, promotional efforts, CRM activity, and strategic alliances that grow market share and strengthen brand visibility.
- Guide business development for corporate, group, and consortia accounts, including account strategy, RFP execution, trade marketing, and industry partnerships.
- Represent the company at important industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and professional networking forums.
- Ensure sales, reservation, and distribution tools are used effectively, including Delphi and Demand 360.
- Run quarterly action planning, sales reporting, forecasting, and performance evaluations.
- Use hospitality platforms and revenue tools such as PEP, Opera PMS, Power of M, Lighthouse, and Kalibri Labs.
- Coordinate with General Managers and corporate leaders to support both property-level and portfolio-wide goals.
- Set clear performance expectations, accountability systems, and incentive structures to improve productivity and results.
- Hire, develop, and retain top sales talent while building a strong leadership bench for the future.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 15 years of progressively responsible hospitality sales leadership experience is needed.
- Background must include strategic sales, brand building, and revenue growth responsibility within hotels or hospitality.
- Proven experience managing group, corporate, consortia, and hotel sales channels is essential.
- A well-established industry network and existing customer relationships are expected.
- Experience building and managing budgets, marketing plans, and revenue strategies is necessary.
- Must have a track record of coaching, leading, and developing strong sales teams.
- Strong analytical, financial, organizational, and project management capabilities are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Opera, and hospitality sales systems is needed.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are important.
- Awareness of current hospitality trends, distribution channels, and market dynamics is required.

This is a full-time onsite leadership role. The selected candidate must be prepared to relocate to Greensboro, NC for the corporate office assignment.
