Role Overview

As a Room Attendant on our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure an exceptional standard of cleanliness and comfort, contributing directly to our guests' satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using various cleaning tools and agents, involving tasks requiring bending, stooping, and reaching overhead.
• Follow prescribed cleaning procedures, using cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment as instructed.
• Strip beds and make beds by changing linens, including lifting bedspreads up to 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, décor, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Vacuum rooms completely and empty trash receptacles.
• Check that all electronic devices and plumbing fixtures in rooms are functioning properly.
• Perform daily room refreshment duties according to guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control.
• Keep work areas orderly, including replenishing cleaning carts and linen storage.
• Maintain safety standards by ensuring proper signage and using necessary disposal units in back-of-house and public areas.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms regularly.
• Handle room keys responsibly and restock as needed.
• Conduct visual inspections of room cleanliness and sign-off upon completion.
• Comply with attendance policies and be consistently available for scheduled work.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to appropriate departments.
• Manage lost and found items according to hotel policies.
• Support coworkers to facilitate task completion.
• Perform additional housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
• Assist with duties in public and event spaces when requested.
