- Handle a variety of incidents such as flat batteries, tyre changes, and more complex mechanical issues.
- Deliver top-tier member service, reassuring customers with expert advice and a calm, professional approach.
- Utilise modern tools and diagnostic equipment supplied by the company to resolve vehicle issues efficiently.
- Represent the organisation as a professional, approachable, and resourceful ambassador on every call-out.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold NVQ Level 2 qualification (or higher/equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and at least 2 years of experience; OR have 5 or more years' experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic.
- Possess a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical fault finding, troubleshooting, and independent decision-making.

- Competitive annual pay of £42,921.87 (inclusive of night allowance), with average on-target earnings (OTE) from £43,000 to £53,000 and top earners making £60,000+ through additional bonus and overtime.
- Company-provided RAC van, fuel card, tools, uniform, and diagnostic kit.
- Eligible to join the colleague share scheme from day one.
- Complimentary premium roadside cover immediately upon joining.
- Access to a salary sacrifice scheme for vehicles (including EVs) after 12 months.
- Generous paid leave: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
- Pension scheme with up to 6.5% matched contributions and life cover of up to 4x salary (with options up to 10x via flexible benefits).
- Confidential 24/7 wellbeing support helpline for you and your family.
- Discount portal for savings on tools, electronics, travel, and more.
