About the Role
Join a boutique coffee-focused retail environment in Chermside West, Queensland, where the goal is to create memorable customer moments and lift the everyday coffee experience. The business is built around a strong values-led culture and a commitment to operating as a certified B Corp, with an emphasis on collaboration, courage, speed, and continuous learning.
This is a full-time position based on a rotating roster of 32 to 44 hours per week. The schedule includes late-night trading shifts, alternate weekends, and keyholder duties, along with responsibility for opening and closing the boutique.
What You’ll Do
- Guide and energise the boutique’s coffee experience on a day-to-day basis.
- Use your coffee knowledge to build enthusiasm among both customers and teammates.
- Design, deliver, and assess coffee training sessions and masterclasses.
- Support coffee launches and tasting events while maintaining high presentation and quality standards.
- Take ownership of the boutique’s coffee expertise by strengthening team capability and encouraging a learning culture.
- Handle keyholder duties, including opening and closing the store as part of daily operations.
- Build warm, genuine customer relationships through strong product knowledge and a welcoming approach.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in coffee and a desire to share that enthusiasm with others.
- Background in retail or hospitality, ideally with some experience in training, coaching, or leadership.
- Confidence in running workshops or guiding team members through learning sessions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to create standout customer interactions.
- A lead-by-example mindset with the ability to support colleagues in a busy boutique setting.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and keyholder responsibilities.
