Job description
Position Overview
NHS Golden Jubilee offers an engaging role for a Resuscitation Practitioner who will lead the resuscitation training department. This position entails delivering expert knowledge and guidance on all facets of adult resuscitation to both clinical and non-clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
The practitioner will collaborate with the clinical education team, Heads of Nursing, Clinical Nurse Managers, and Department Heads to pinpoint and organize necessary resuscitation training. The role includes supervision of resuscitation policies and strategic initiatives, conducting resuscitation audits, and promoting quality improvements in conjunction with Quality Improvement and Clinical Governance teams.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), possessing at least an ordinary degree or equivalent (SCQF level 9). Substantial experience as a resuscitation trainer, including UK Resuscitation Council ALS/ILS instructor certification, alongside a proven record of implementing quality enhancement initiatives, is mandatory.
