Role Overview
Are you an innovative thinker who is driven to make meaningful impacts? Join the Project Management Institute as a Regional Head of Markets for Sub-Saharan Africa, overseeing growth initiatives, resources, and teams aligned with regional priorities and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the region’s growth activities by coordinating direct and indirect channels, academic institutions, government bodies, crucial partnerships, and marketing campaigns. Manage customer care, summits, agreements, and dealings with the global executive council members and key regional stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent accompanied by PMP certification, or an MBA.
- 7 to 10 years of leadership experience across diverse global markets and channels.
- Proven success in building and maintaining programs via geographically dispersed or virtual communities of stakeholders.
- Strong track record in channel, B2B management, and business plan development with cross-functional market planning.
- Experience forging partnerships and business agreements to support organizational goals.
- Familiarity with both B2C and B2B environments is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen business judgment in prioritizing opportunities.
- Knowledgeable in marketing and relationship management methods, capable of influencing senior executives.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to lead, retain, and grow teams.
- Adaptability in agile, customer-focused settings.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, collaboration, and negotiation capabilities.
- Fluency in English, the primary language for PMI business communications.
