Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Operate automated machinery to package and palletize products efficiently.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the work environment.
- Perform maintenance tasks on the facility as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Conduct quality control assessments on products to maintain standards.
- Engage actively with incoming and outgoing teams to coordinate plant operations.
- Communicate any quality, safety, maintenance, or production concerns promptly to the Site Supervisor.
- Keep accurate production records through logs, verbal communication, and documentation.
- Provide support by stepping in as Packaging Line Operator when necessary.
- Safely and effectively manage all plant equipment operations.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong commitment to fostering a safe workplace culture.
- Self-driven with the capacity to work independently and lead as needed.
- Prior experience with automated manufacturing equipment is advantageous.
- Possess good mechanical aptitude and relevant experience.
- Able to collaborate effectively in team settings.
- Experience with forklift and front-end loader operation considered a plus.
- Physical ability to lift weights of 50 pounds or more when required.
