Research Facilitator / Research Nurse / Research Allied Health Professional

Position Overview

Two exciting job openings exist within the Research Team at East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust (EEC). The roles available are Research Nurse, Research Allied Health Professional (AHP), and Research Facilitator (clinical or non-clinical). These positions play a crucial role in supporting the expansion and delivery of research within the newly formed Trust, working closely with clinical services to integrate research into routine practice and improve patient access to research projects, thus enhancing health outcomes.

Employment Details

• One position is full-time (1.0 whole time equivalent) and permanent.
• The other role involves 15 hours per week (0.4 whole time equivalent) and is a fixed-term contract until March 31, 2028.

Funding

These roles are funded by the Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) East of England.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clinical teams in identifying, establishing, and delivering various research studies.
• Promote research opportunities within services to encourage participation.
• Support processes for patient identification, recruitment, and follow-up throughout studies.
• Maintain accurate and timely collection of research data and reporting.
• Contribute to the advancement of research-ready clinical services, especially those managing complex studies like Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs).
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, including the NIHR Research Delivery Network.

Candidate Background and Eligibility

Candidates may come from either clinical or non-clinical backgrounds. Where relevant, holding professional registration is required.
