Role Overview
We seek a Registered Nurse for a casual role at Chalmers Home covering morning, evening, and nocte shifts. You will be part of a peer-supported, caring team dedicated to ensuring residents receive outstanding care and a positive living experience. We provide weekend and night shift allowances along with overtime pay to acknowledge the flexibility and commitment of our staff.
Candidate Profile
- You hold a current New Zealand Registered Nurse qualification with an Annual Practising Certificate.
- Preferably possess at least two years of full-time equivalent nursing experience in elderly care within New Zealand.
- Capable of leading others under your delegation and working independently, with sole charge experience considered a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with InterRAI assessments is advantageous, although training can be provided.
- Exhibit patience, organizational skills, enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal communication, and a person-centered approach emphasizing empathy, compassion, and respect.
