Role Overview

We seek Health Care Assistants to support elders diagnosed with dementia at Cashmere Heights. The part-time roles follow a two-week rotating roster system with hours from 4:00 PM to midnight, structured as follows:

• Rotation One: Week 1 - Sunday to Wednesday; Week 2 - Monday to Wednesday
• Rotation Two: Week 1 - Thursday to Saturday; Week 2 - Thursday to Sunday

As part of the Enliven team, you will contribute to delivering excellent quality care ensuring residents have a positive living experience. Flexibility and supportive collaboration within the team are valued highly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist elders with daily living activities and care needs.
• Encourage resident independence and promote their decision-making.
• Provide individualized, high-quality support to residents.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols consistently.
• Work under supervision of Registered Nurses.
• Respond promptly and effectively to resident needs.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Health Care Assistant.
• Current first aid certification.
• Completion of LCP training.
• Possession or pursuit of Level 3 or 4 Health & Wellbeing Certificate.
• Strong passion for elder wellbeing with empathy, patience, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal communication and record-keeping abilities.
• Comfortable with computer use and maintaining digital records.
