Bluebird Care Dublin North is hiring compassionate Healthcare Assistants across various Dublin areas including D7, D11, D9, and D1 — covering neighborhoods like Cabra, Drumcondra, Phibsborough, Glasnevin, Finglas, Ballymun, and Santry. We offer flexible contracts, both part-time and full-time. Note that sponsorship is not available; applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland.

About the Role

Working with Bluebird Care means delivering personalized home care by traveling to clients’ residences. Our mission is to provide excellent, compassionate support that helps clients maintain their independence and dignity in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Help with mobility and safely transferring clients
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Remind clients about their medications
  • Perform light housekeeping duties including tidying and laundry
  • Encourage client independence and preserve their dignity at all times
  • Promptly report any health changes or concerns to the office
  • Keep accurate records of visits and care updates

Candidate Requirements

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential
  • Previous work experience in Ireland is required
  • Availability to work every alternate weekend, with preference for evening and weekend shifts
  • Possession of 2 QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills/Healthcare Support and Care of Older Person, OR
  • At least one year of relevant Healthcare Assistant experience along with willingness to complete the required QQI modules
