Position Overview

We are hiring a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant responsible for delivering tailored physical therapy treatments to patients within their residences, working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Key Duties

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Perform manual therapeutic exercises and utilize modalities such as massage and electrical stimulation.
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team discussions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure by the state to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and dependable transportation.
• CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience and Expertise

• Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Strong understanding of the physical and emotional needs of geriatric patients.
• Skills in teamwork and infection control procedures.

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with tuberculosis screening protocols.
• Adherence to driver safety programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $64,000 to $87,500, accompanied by benefits designed to support employee well-being.
