Job description
About Us
Presbyterian Support Central (PSC) is a long-standing not-for-profit organization committed for over 115 years to supporting individuals during vulnerable periods in their lives. Their services focus on elder care and family assistance, delivered primarily through two key brands: Enliven, which fosters positive aging through companionship and purposeful activities, and Family Works, providing social services including counseling and parenting programs.
Levin Home for War Veterans offers tailored care including rest home, hospital, dementia-secure care, respite, and health recovery services. Their dementia care model emphasizes connection, confidence, and wellbeing for residents. The Enliven Bureau supports residential homes by providing staff cover during absences or increased workloads, ensuring continuity and quality of care.

Ideal candidates will bring previous involvement in Recreation or Diversional Therapy or a similar discipline, with at least a Level 4 qualification in Diversional Therapy or Level 3 NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing combined with experience assisting Elders with dementia. A strong understanding of person-centered care and teamwork skills are essential, as is a full, clean New Zealand driver's license.
