About the Role
This position represents a partner company seeking a Regional Sales Director for the East region, based in Canada. The role is centered on accelerating enterprise growth and expanding market reach within the dynamic field of cybersecurity. As a leader, you will drive strategic sales initiatives, cultivate executive-level connections, and support organizations in securing their critical data assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the complete sales lifecycle, including developing territory strategies, prospecting, negotiating, and ensuring long-term customer success.
- Building and maintaining strong executive relationships with C-suite officers, senior decision-makers, and technical stakeholders across target sectors.
- Managing end-to-end enterprise sales activities such as discovery, solution positioning, proof-of-value demonstrations, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Understanding customer challenges and clearly communicating how solutions address business priorities like risk management, operational efficiency, and data protection.
- Delivering tailored presentations, product demos, and business cases to meet customer needs.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams including Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to foster pipeline development and growth acceleration.
- Keeping accurate CRM data, sales pipeline visibility, forecasts, and account tracking.
- Consistently surpassing quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor movements, and customer needs to enhance strategic positioning.
- Forging strategic partnerships and growing the cybersecurity ecosystem network.
- Representing the organization at customer engagements, industry forums, and in-person events when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in enterprise sales, with at least 3 years focused on winning new enterprise customers.
- Strong background in cybersecurity sectors such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), or Insider Risk Management.
- Established relationships with security executives, enterprise buyers, and channel partners.
- Proven success in consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue expansion.
- Deep expertise in enterprise sales methodology including prospecting, qualification, value articulation, negotiation, and closure.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, interpersonal, and customer relationship skills.
- Passion for cybersecurity technologies and ability to tackle complex business challenges.
- Willingness and ability to travel for customer meetings and industry-related events.
Compensation and Benefits
- A competitive compensation package with on-target earnings ranging between $320,000 and $340,000 USD, inclusive of base salary and commissions.
- Salary and benefits are calibrated based on experience, skill set, interview results, and current market standards.
