About the Role

Join Goldman Sachs as a Compliance Analyst within the Regional Country Compliance team based in Singapore. The role centers on ensuring adherence to Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations and overseeing compliance responsibilities related to cross-divisional, regional, and global initiatives affecting the Singapore office. You'll collaborate closely with compliance teams across divisions and regions, along with other control functions including Legal, Controllers, Operations, and Human Capital Management, to drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and continuously monitor centralized compliance programs for regulated entities across Singapore.
  • Lead the execution of regulatory initiatives and compliance program enhancements aligned with regulatory mandates.
  • Manage both scheduled and ad-hoc regulatory audits, surveys, questionnaires, and audit engagements internally and externally.
  • Track and analyze regulatory interactions, updates, and focal areas raised by regulators.
  • Organize and coordinate responses to consultations from regulators and industry bodies.
  • Engage with industry organizations and participants on advocacy efforts and regulatory developments.
  • Handle corporate governance matters relevant to office leadership.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree holder with 2 to 5 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, or pertinent financial services roles.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and highly organized with a pragmatic approach.
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience in managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills complemented by proficiency in both written and oral communication.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and maintain high organizational standards.
