Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Communications Lead for the APAC region to spearhead our communication strategies across both internal and external platforms, focusing on enhancing business growth and recognition in the area. This role is vital in crafting and promoting Mistral’s story throughout Asia, effectively sharing our vision, products, and values with customers, partners, media, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive 360-degree communication strategy tailored to business goals, enhancing Mistral's reputation and supporting growth within the APAC market.
• Track industry developments, competitor actions, and media reports to spot opportunities, guide messaging, and address risks promptly.
• Evaluate communication program effectiveness using data insights to continuously refine strategies.
• Oversee crucial communication channels including public relations, social media, and corporate communications.
• Lead media relations efforts by engaging proactively with journalists, analysts, and influencers while handling inquiries.
• Develop high-quality content such as press releases, executive messages, thought leadership articles, blogs, social media posts, and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing, and regional leadership to ensure unified messaging supporting go-to-market activities, product launches, and partnerships.
• Prepare and train regional spokespeople and executives for media interactions, speeches, and public communications with tailored briefing materials and media coaching.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Product, Sales, Partnerships, and HR to maintain consistent messaging.
• Build and nurture relationships with vital stakeholders, including clients, partners, industry groups, and media contacts.
• Support executive engagement programs and strategic relationship-building initiatives across APAC.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated success in creating and executing integrated communication strategies across media, PR, events, and digital platforms that have driven measurable business results.
• Background in fast-growing B2B tech companies, enterprise software, or innovative competitive markets.
• Deep knowledge of the APAC technology ecosystem with well-established media and industry connections.
• Keen interest in technology and innovation, preferably with exposure to AI or emerging tech sectors.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, adept at shaping engaging narratives for technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Strong business insight and experience collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Product Marketing teams to support commercial objectives.
• Ability to build influential relationships and guide stakeholders to achieve results in complex environments.
• Experienced in coaching senior leaders and executives for effective media presence and public engagement.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments with ambiguity.
• Proven track record working effectively across multiple teams, functions, and geographical regions.
