Role Overview
Join Mistral AI’s Data Partnerships team to influence the future of AI data solutions. You will work alongside cross-functional teams including IP & Licensing, Engineering, and Research to enhance processes and initiatives that provide high-quality data for advanced AI development.
In your role as an AI Data Solutions Intern, you will become proficient with internal tools and workflows supporting data partnerships focused on STEM academic content. Over the course of six months, you will evaluate current processes, discover ways to increase efficiency and scalability, and investigate AI applications for solving complex operational challenges. Your insights will guide product enhancements and the advancement of internal capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine data, workflows, and user feedback to find areas for improvement.
- Develop and assess AI-driven prototype solutions using Python, SQL, spreadsheets, APIs, or large language models.
- Carry out research and analysis to aid decisions around product development, partnerships, and operations.
- Assist in identifying and appraising high-quality content sources for AI applications.
- Document results and communicate recommendations to stakeholders across teams.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Research, Product, and IP & Licensing departments.
Candidate Profile
- A passion for AI and an interest in leveraging emerging technologies to tackle real-world challenges.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
- A background in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or an equivalent technical field or experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, spreadsheets, or other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge or experience with large language models, AI tools, APIs, or automation workflows is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively across teams comprising both technical and non-technical members.
- A proactive, curious learner who thrives in fast-paced settings.
