Recreation Aid NF-01

Job Duties

• Distribute tools, equipment, and games to authorized patrons, verifying identification, collecting fees as applicable, and completing necessary paperwork.
• Accept returned items, inspect for damage or missing components, and check inventories and supplies.
• Guide patrons, manage scheduling for courts, lanes, and equipment usage; organize and lead games and social activities; decorate party rooms; and maintain cleanliness of designated workspaces.
• Provide information regarding facility and programs to guests; assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Employment Conditions

• Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background verification standards.
• Completion of a one-year probationary period may be mandatory.
• Employment contingent on successful verification via E-Verify.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of required pre-employment checks including a Tier 1 background investigation as per AR 215-3, para 2.

• No prior experience necessary.

• No formal education requirements.

Additional Information

• Open to applicants residing within a 50-mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA; Military Spouse Preference and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference candidates are included.

• This position falls under a pay-banded system where Sunday premium pay and night differentials may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.

• Access to certain federal facilities may require specific REAL ID or Enhanced Driver’s Licenses.
