Role overview
We are looking for a reception team member to support our staff and help create a pleasant stay for guests by managing the front office area. Applications from people with experience as a front office manager, receptionist, reception staff, guest relation manager, service employee, host, sales assistant, or career changers with a passion for hospitality and guest service are welcome.

What the job involves
- Represent the a&o brand at the front desk and take ownership of the reception area
- Handle guest check-in and check-out at reception or in the lobby as a guest relation officer
- Support guests with their needs and provide tourist information so they feel comfortable during their stay
- Look after guests and respond to their requests and concerns
- Act as shift lead and ensure that operations run smoothly during your shift
- Assist with preparing duty rosters and vacation schedules
- Serve hot and cold drinks and snacks at the bar, and help prepare snacks
Candidate profile
- Experience in hospitality or tourism, or a completed vocational training in one of these fields
- Strong sense of responsibility for assigned tasks
- Enjoy working with guests and being service-oriented at any time of day or night
- Independent working style combined with strong teamwork skills
- High level of commitment and self-reliance
- Comfortable staying friendly, motivated, and service-minded even on early shifts starting at 6:00 a.m.
- Very good German and good English skills; additional languages are an advantage
