Role Overview

This role suits individuals who flourish in fast-paced, ownership-driven settings and are comfortable adapting to changing priorities in a startup-like environment. The specialist will focus on assuring the quality of web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing across various domains including functionality, UI, accessibility, SEO, regression, integration, performance, and security. Collaboration, continuous improvement, and proactive identification of product and process enhancements are also key components.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various testing types such as functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop, update, and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation to guide testing efforts.
• Identify, document, and manage defects throughout the product lifecycle using tools like JIRA or GitHub Issues.
• Perform API testing with Postman or related tools, along with database validation via SQL queries.
• Support test automation initiatives and aim to enhance quality assurance workflows continuously.
• Analyze testing outcomes, producing detailed reports that highlight patterns, risks, and necessary improvements.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and clients to elevate software quality across web and mobile platforms.
• Provide guidance on accessible design adhering to best practices and responsive principles.
• Stay informed on industry trends and the latest quality assurance methodologies.

Candidate Profile

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in both manual and automation testing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven capability working within cross-functional teams or with multiple stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and varied testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and management of software defects.
• Familiarity with test management and issue tracking systems including Jira, Testiny, and GitHub Issues.
• Exposure to automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is advantageous.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining test documentation and reports.
