About the Role
This position sits within a luxury airline catering production environment where presentation, precision, and service quality are central to the operation. The team is focused on delivering an elevated catering experience for airline partners and passengers, with strong attention to food safety, consistency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Quality Manager with day-to-day office activities and handle daily goods-in checks as directed by the QA Supervisor and Manager.
- Conduct hygiene inspections along with daily, weekly, and monthly GMP audits, record non-conformances, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Apply and monitor PRP, OPRP, and HACCP controls across the operation, escalate deviations, and carry out corrective actions.
- Review HACCP documentation to make sure all records remain accurate and current.
- Monitor CCPs and temperature logs.
- Support the traceability process and help ensure the system is maintained correctly.
- Carry out airline-specific verification checks in flight assembly, dry storage, and inbound areas.
- Prepare product samples for microbiological and taste testing.
- Inspect chillers and dry stores across production and warehouse areas, including FIFO practice, batch coding, expiry control, and allergen separation.
- Check personal hygiene compliance for team members working in high-risk and high-care zones.
- Produce regular quality assurance reports that support corrective action and demonstrate the effectiveness of food safety and quality controls.
- Train and coach production staff on food safety and quality standards so they can maintain compliance within Operations.
- Investigate customer complaints and prepare detailed reports for the QA Supervisors and QA Manager.
