DO & CO AG is recognized globally as a leader in hospitality and airline catering. As the exclusive hospitality partner at the Allianz Arena Munich, we are responsible for not only the catering during FC Bayern Munich home games but also the execution of around 1,500 side events annually. These events range from high-profile B2B meetings, conferences, and gala dinners to private celebrations such as weddings and birthdays, making the Allianz Arena one of Germany’s most distinctive event venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for event management, including special game days at Allianz Arena Munich.
- Ensuring smooth operations on FC Bayern Munich match days and during special events such as NFL games, concerts, and UEFA-related activities.
- Planning and managing budgets, staff, and resources to drive economic success for all events.
- Leading, developing, and operationally directing a 12-person event team.
- Monitoring and coordinating the planning, organization, and execution of up to 1,500 annual events.
- Taking charge of the operational realization and on-site quality control for all events.
- Creating bespoke event concepts in collaboration with clients, the event team, and internal departments.
- Maintaining close collaboration with senior management, internal departments, and external service providers.
- Providing personalized client support from initial consultation through to post-event follow-up.
- Actively representing the company during events by being visible, present, and close to guests.
Required Qualifications
- Completed education or degree in hotel management, gastronomy, event management, or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in events, hospitality, or gastronomy with leadership responsibilities.
- Essential operational experience in gastronomy or hotel industries (agency or marketing experience alone is insufficient).
- A strong passion for hospitality and an exemplary service mindset.
- Highly competent in operations with enthusiasm for hands-on involvement.
- Excellent organizational skills, resilience, and the ability to work solution-oriented under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, confident demeanor, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, especially during match days, weekends, and special events.
