About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the airline catering team to ensure peak performance.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee timely delivery of catering services to the flight crew.
  • Guarantee quality control of catering items including quantity, packaging, and loading of onboard menus.
  • Ensure adherence to internal standards, process compliance, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for onboard crew regarding all catering matters.
  • Manage administrative workflows, prepare pertinent documentation, and analyze key performance indicators.
  • Continuously improve operational processes in close collaboration with senior management.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in hospitality (e.g., chef, hotel management, system gastronomy specialist) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Several years of professional experience in hospitality, gastronomy, event or airline catering preferably with leadership responsibilities.
  • Possession of a valid security clearance (ZUP) under Section 7 LuftSiG is advantageous.
  • Highly service-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Pragmatic, hands-on approach and flexibility, including shift work readiness.
  • Class B driver’s license.
  • Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
