Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop the airline catering team to ensure peak performance.
- Plan, organize, and oversee timely delivery of catering services to the flight crew.
- Guarantee quality control of catering items including quantity, packaging, and loading of onboard menus.
- Ensure adherence to internal standards, process compliance, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Serve as the primary contact for onboard crew regarding all catering matters.
- Manage administrative workflows, prepare pertinent documentation, and analyze key performance indicators.
- Continuously improve operational processes in close collaboration with senior management.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in hospitality (e.g., chef, hotel management, system gastronomy specialist) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams.
- Several years of professional experience in hospitality, gastronomy, event or airline catering preferably with leadership responsibilities.
- Possession of a valid security clearance (ZUP) under Section 7 LuftSiG is advantageous.
- Highly service-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach and flexibility, including shift work readiness.
- Class B driver’s license.
- Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
