About the role
For the Oberding site, a support person is needed in goods receiving for premium airline catering. The production team delivers luxury inflight meals with a strong focus on elegant presentation, high quality, and a memorable guest experience. The goal is to create menus and service that leave a lasting impression on even the most demanding passengers.
Key responsibilities
- Check incoming goods for both quality and quantity.
- Keep the receiving area organised and monitor its cleanliness, usability, and safety.
- Verify delivery notes against the related order documents.
- Store food items correctly and in an orderly manner.
Profile and qualifications
Applicants should have practical experience in hospitality, preferably in large kitchens or canteens, as well as experience with warehouse administration and food receiving. A completed vocational qualification in hospitality or logistics is desirable, for example as a warehouse logistics specialist, warehouse clerk, logistician, specialist in system catering, cook, retail sales assistant, or specialist in food technology. A solid understanding of kitchen processes, goods, and product knowledge is expected. Knowledge of food law and hygiene regulations such as LMHV and HACCP is also important. A category B driving licence is an advantage.
