Position Overview

This opening is provided on behalf of a partner company located in the United States, seeking a Product Specialist focused on Privacy. The role centers on contributing to the ongoing advancement of enterprise privacy technology within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. It involves supporting the development, improvement, and operational activities of privacy-centric products and platforms while working closely with multiple teams including Product, Legal, Engineering, Security, and other business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing the product roadmap by supporting strategic initiatives and new feature delivery related to privacy technology.
  • Collect, document, and refine business, operational, and regulatory requirements to enable product improvements.
  • Develop and maintain user stories, define acceptance criteria, and create documentation and process workflows.
  • Work collaboratively with Legal, Engineering, Security, and business teams to enhance product integrations and functionalities.
  • Support Agile team processes such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and coordinating releases.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to identify and implement improvements.
  • Manage platform administration tasks including configuring workflows, handling access controls, reporting, and tracking issues.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents, ensuring timely communication to all affected stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with vendors to implement new privacy technology capabilities.
  • Prepare documentation, training materials, and resources to facilitate user enablement and adoption.
  • Propose process improvements to boost operational efficiency, governance, and enhance user experience.
  • Stay current on privacy regulations and industry best practices to support compliance efforts.

Candidate Requirements

  • One to three years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis, privacy operations, compliance technology, or related areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software product life cycles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with close attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills enabling collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and coordinate projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Genuine interest in privacy, compliance, governance, and enterprise technology solutions.
  • Exposure to privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or similar frameworks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of privacy management platforms, SaaS systems, governance tools, and workflows is beneficial.
  • Understanding of APIs, data flows, system integrations, and software delivery processes is a plus.
  • Additional certifications or training in Agile, CSPO, or privacy fundamentals are advantageous.
