Product Manager - AI Applications for Global Public Sector

Join Scale AI's rapidly expanding Global Public Sector team, dedicated to collaborating with international governmental organizations and government-supported institutions. This team crafts tailored AI-driven solutions using customers' proprietary data and expert insights to revolutionize organizational processes. Our innovations are powered by the Scale GenAI Platform, a comprehensive toolset to develop, test, and deploy next-generation AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom AI applications tailored to governmental needs.
• Create and develop bespoke large language models (LLMs).
• Supply top-tier training data supporting research institutions and government LLM initiatives.
• Forge partnerships that encourage regional talent development and promote broader AI adoption.
• Lead client-facing design sessions to outline and refine AI solutions.
• Identify and evaluate new AI application opportunities across governmental bodies.
• Guide cross-functional teams—including engineering, machine learning engineers, and operations—to construct impactful solutions.
• Engage end-users regularly to gather feedback for effective prioritization.
• Keep abreast of contemporary applied AI research and custom LLM training advancements.
• Define model evaluation criteria and performance benchmarks; continuously assess and refine solutions.
• Provide frequent project progress briefings to clients and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Over four years of product development experience, with 1-2 years specifically on AI-powered products.
• Strong STEM background or substantial experience in technical software product development.
• In-depth knowledge of generative AI technologies and their use cases in enterprise and consumer contexts.
• Familiarity with coding platforms like Replit, Lovable, Bolt and design software such as Figma, Canva, or Miro.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills capable of influencing multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in coding, especially Python.
• Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.

Additional Information

Applicants based in Qatar must secure the appropriate residency and work permits from Qatari authorities. Candidates will provide personal details necessary for visa processing solely for immigration compliance, with no bearing on hiring decisions unless mandated by law. Visa issuance remains at the discretion of governmental bodies. Successful candidates will receive Scale's assistance during visa application procedures.

Note that there is a mandatory 90-day waiting period before reapplying for the same role to ensure a fair evaluation process.
