About The Team

Bioma develops probiotic supplements aimed at enhancing gut health, boosting energy, and improving focus by restoring beneficial gut bacteria.

Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will take full responsibility for the procurement cycle related to food supplements, spanning from approved formulation stages to confirmed production orders. This position involves managing relationships with manufacturing partners for supplements, packaging, and branded merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full procurement process for dietary supplements.
  • Oversee manufacturing partners across supplements, packaging, and branded products.
  • Source, assess, qualify, and onboard new suppliers internationally, including in the US market.
  • Build and sustain a dependable supplier network with multiple qualified manufacturers for critical product categories.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, lead times, and establish long-term supply agreements.
  • Maintain supplier performance to guarantee quality consistency, timely deliveries, and competitive commercial terms.
  • Coordinate manufacturing orders ensuring that new products launch aligned with business timelines.
  • Lead compliance efforts regarding ingredients, labeling, and localizations for UK, Canadian, and European markets together with regulatory partners.
  • Continuously benchmark supplier pricing, capabilities, and production capacities to spot improved sourcing opportunities.
  • Promote procurement cost efficiencies while preserving product quality and steady supply.
  • Develop scalable procurement procedures, documentation standards, and supplier management frameworks as the company expands.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of senior-level procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
  • Proven track record sourcing food products and/or dietary supplements.
  • Experience managing procurement projects that span product development through to commercial production.
  • Strong negotiation aptitude and excellent supplier relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build procurement processes and supplier networks from the ground up.
  • Ability to handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Self-driven, capable of working independently, and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial settings.

Salary and Location

The monthly gross salary range is 6000 to 7000 EUR. The role offers various workspace options, including headquarters in Vilnius and hubs in Klaipėda and Riga. Vilnius-based employees follow a hybrid schedule: four days onsite and one day remote. For other locations, work arrangements vary by role and can be onsite, hybrid, or remote.
