About the Role

Join a dedicated, high-performing Business & Performance Team serving Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS), Children's Services, and Community Services throughout Dorset. Your role as a Service Improvement Manager will be pivotal in working alongside a Performance Manager to develop, monitor, and report on key service indicators while driving meaningful improvements within frontline services.

This position requires a meticulous eye for detail, strong project management capabilities, and excellent interpersonal skills to implement change effectively. You will interpret complex datasets to highlight opportunities for service enhancements aligned with performance monitoring principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead improvement projects collaboratively with Business Partners and Performance Managers to enhance service delivery and implement transitional and efficiency initiatives.
  • Manage projects following the Trust's standard methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with service teams to co-design and document enhanced operational processes.
  • Facilitate appropriate knowledge transfer of improvement strategies into routine Trust operations.
  • Build and nurture excellent relationships with stakeholders, commissioners, and multi-disciplinary teams to support and lead change.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a proactive manner, maintaining positivity and a sense of humor.

About You

This role is operationally focused but sits within the corporate framework of the Trust. As such, outstanding communication skills and a proactive attitude are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively across varying teams.
