Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Shaston ward team at Westminster Memorial Hospital, Shaftesbury. This supportive team operates a 15-bed ward delivering sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation, and palliative/end-of-life services to the local and broader community. Our Elderly Rehabilitation and End-of-Life Care unit is nationally recognized with the Gold Standard Framework award.

Responsibilities

The Staff Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care focusing on elderly patients needing rehabilitation and end-of-life support.

Requirements

Candidates must be enthusiastic about delivering excellent patient care, possess professional clinical leadership abilities, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational talents. Interest in elderly patient care is essential. Valid right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship is required.

Working Hours

  • Part-time role, 15 hours per week
  • Flexible shifts include Early (07:30-15:30), Late (12:30-20:30), Long Days (07:30-20:30), Nights (20:15-07:45)
  • Rotational shifts covering days and nights
