Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager role is a full-time position located in Coconut Grove, FL, offering hybrid work arrangements. The role involves supporting the team with daily project operations while fostering personal growth through varied responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assistance to Cost Managers, Project Managers, and senior staff at CNSTRCT.
- Engage periodically with clients and consultants throughout all phases of projects.
- Coordinate projects and contribute to planning efforts.
- Assist with scheduling tasks, including developing and maintaining project timelines in collaboration with Project Managers.
- Support the management of the change control process.
- Oversee the exchange of project-related information between internal teams and clients through meetings and correspondence.
- Prepare formal reports on project progress and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards via quality control measures.
- Collaborate on various tasks to enhance learning and professional development.
Ideal Qualifications
- Residency in or near the Miami area.
- Strong ability to manage time effectively.
- Capability to foster strong collaborative relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Experience contributing effectively within project teams to deliver results.
- Basic technical knowledge of construction processes.
Education and Experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, preferably including Microsoft Project.
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proven track record working on construction projects.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- College degree in Construction Management or a related discipline, with a preference for candidates working toward PMP certification.
