Role Focus
Within Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM), the focus is on developing fully integrated wealth management strategies for high net worth individuals, families, and selected institutions such as foundations and endowments. PWM teams collaborate closely with clients to provide tailored advice and customized solutions leveraging the firm's extensive investment expertise, breadth of wealth management services, and global resources. Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) act as trusted advisors delivering an unmatched investment platform encompassing Goldman Sachs’ full spectrum of financial products and services. These may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic guidance, and private banking and lending offerings. This personalized relationship allows PWAs to adapt to clients’ evolving needs by introducing complementary services and new opportunities through Goldman Sachs and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and develop client relationships with high net worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and select institutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor providing in-depth wealth management solutions and investment advice including asset allocation and risk assessment tailored to client objectives and liquidity needs.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and develop new business opportunities while supporting existing client relationships.
- Leverage the New Private Wealth Advisor Development Framework to enhance knowledge and acquire specialized expertise.
- Build and maintain a strong network of intermediaries and prospective clients.
- Utilize extensive resources to deliver comprehensive wealth advisory services.

- Proficient understanding of investment products and transaction execution across equities, derivatives, fixed income, bonds, warrants, and mutual funds.
- Strong business development, client relationship, and management skills.
- High integrity and commitment to excellence.
- Previous experience in sales, fundraising, business development or investing is advantageous but not mandatory.
