Compliance Division Overview
The Global Compliance division plays a critical role in identifying, managing, and mitigating compliance, regulatory, and reputational risks throughout the organization. Operating independently as a second line of defense, the division implements controls, policies, training, testing, and investigative activities, while responding to regulatory inquiries. The team comprises professionals from varied academic and career backgrounds, emphasizing sound judgment, curiosity, and adaptability to regulatory developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver administrative support in a dynamic, complex team setting.
- Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings and conference calls, managing scheduling challenges, room bookings, guest registrations, and ensuring preparedness of relevant materials.
- Arrange international travel itineraries, including scheduling and visa processing when required.
- Prepare, monitor, and reconcile expense reports and invoices promptly in line with firm policies.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics for new hires and transfers joining the Compliance department.
- Provide backup administrative assistance to colleague assistants when needed.
- Perform various other administrative or ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant assistant experience, preferably within financial services.
- Familiarity with operations within the financial services industry, supported by over two years of work experience in the field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent organizational skills with capability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, efficient, and demonstrates initiative in tasks.
- Collaborative team player with a commitment to supporting colleagues.
