Job description
Role overview
Roku is hiring a Post Production Coordinator to support the Post Production team and help manage the creation and delivery of original programming for The Roku Channel. This position sits within Roku Originals and works closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure each title launches successfully on platform.
The role is suited to someone who is proactive, curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to make practical, data-informed decisions quickly as priorities shift. Roku operates in a fast-moving environment where team success matters more than individual spotlight.
What the team does
The Programming organization expands The Roku Channel’s scale and content library through partnerships with more than 175 content providers. The team also supports new products and discovery experiences across the Roku interface, including Featured Free and Roklue Trivia, while collaborating across the business to deliver content that drives engagement.
Responsibilities
- Back up Post Production team members and provide coverage for external partners when needed.
- Keep internal and external post-production documentation current, and maintain tracking systems such as Confluence and Airtable, including AI-assisted workflows.
- Support outside partners with prompt guidance on Roku delivery specifications.
- Use AI to build automations and workflow improvements that streamline project tracking and content delivery.
- Manage access, tracking, and wrap deliverables in Roku Deliverables Hub, and coordinate asset sharing through SharePoint, Frame.io, and AWS S3.
- Oversee media management for Roku Original and Roku Brand Studio series/partner teams in Frame.io, including onboarding new creative stakeholders.
- Partner with Content Operations to review delivery materials and verify asset integrity ahead of launch.
Experience and qualifications
Roku is looking for candidates with strong post-production coordination and project management capability, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once and stay highly organized.
Preferred background includes at least 3 years of hands-on experience at a streaming service, especially an AVOD platform, and at least 3 years working as a Post Production Coordinator across multiple genres such as drama, comedy, reality, game shows, and competition series.
Additional qualifications
- Self-directed and able to keep work moving with minimal supervision.
- Strong at prioritization, organization, and practical problem-solving across multiple active productions.
- Comfortable balancing technical and logistical responsibilities while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
- Skilled at building and sustaining industry relationships.
- Helpful if you understand live broadcast environments.
- Comfortable using AI, Slack, Frame.io, AWS S3 Console, Airtable, SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365.
Compensation
For California-based candidates, the estimated hourly pay range for this position is $33 to $35 per hour. Final compensation depends on factors such as skills, certifications, and location.
Benefits
This role may be eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability coverage, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off. Roku also offers broader benefits support that may include medical, dental, vision, commuter, and retirement options depending on location and role.
Work arrangement
Roku follows a hybrid schedule. Teams are in the office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally available for remote work unless a role or office policy requires five days onsite.
Accommodations
Roku welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and provides reasonable accommodations in line with applicable law. Candidates who need support during the hiring process can contact EmployeeRelations@Roku.com.
Company culture
Roku describes its culture as fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on execution. The company values strong performers, practical problem-solvers, humility, good humor, and bold, fast-moving teamwork. Roku emphasizes building and delivering solutions, not just discussing ideas.
