Role Overview

As a Room Attendant within our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining approachable supervision and oversight of all housekeeping and laundry operations. Your role ensures that guest rooms meet the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Daily Duties

• Clean bathroom fixtures and surfaces thoroughly using various tools and cleaning supplies, often reaching above shoulder height or bending as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper use of cleaning agents and personal protective equipment.
• Make and change beds, managing linens and handling bedspreads up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture and surfaces meticulously, including pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
• Vacuum floors throughout rooms, empty trash receptacles, and verify all plumbing and electronic fixtures are operational.
• Perform daily room refreshment tasks according to guidelines and assist with inventory counts and stock management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, restock carts and linen supply rooms.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to departmental safety standards, using warning signs, and handling biohazards correctly.
• Restock guest room amenities and supplies, manage room keys, and update room status after inspections.
• Comply with attendance policies and be reliably available for scheduled shifts.
• Report any damages or maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate departments.
• Manage lost and found items in accordance with property policies.
• Support co-workers with additional tasks, including public area cleaning and event spaces when assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• Preferably at least three years of experience in hotel housekeeping or related hospitality roles.
